To stop the blood bleeding.....one must do the followimg things.....
1) Sit up straight and balance the area where the bleeding is there.
2) We can put a cream and cover it by a bandage...
3) We should clean the wound with an antiseptic....

ANSWER--
The blood consists of the negatively charged colloidal particles like albuminoid particles and the ferric chloride is positively charged. When ferric chloride solution is applied on wound the colloidal particles surround the solution and form a clot. This causes coagulation of the blood, which stops further bleeding.
