we can test the presence of starch in an object in the following way:

aim :

to test the presence of starch

materials needed:

a food containing starch ( potato , bread,ect) , iodine solution , dropper , a test tube or a plate .

method :

1) place a piece of bread on the plate.

2) add two drops of iodine solution.

inference :

the piece of bread turns to bluish-black, showing the presence of starch.
