we can test the presence of starch in an object in the following way:
aim :
to test the presence of starch
materials needed:
a food containing starch ( potato , bread,ect) , iodine solution , dropper , a test tube or a plate .
method :
1) place a piece of bread on the plate.
2) add two drops of iodine solution.
inference :
the piece of bread turns to bluish-black, showing the presence of starch.
