We can change the force to either increase or decrease the pressure without changing the area.

Pressure is directly proportional to Force and inversely proportional to Area. (a)By keeping area unchanged, we have to apply more Force to apply more pressure. (b)By keeping Force unchanged, we have to decrease the area to increase pressure
