How can we trust that what we perceive is real, and that others perceive things the same way we do?

I don't think that everything we perceive will be real. However that may be the best we can perceive at the moment. And people are different. So they may not look at things the way you do.

We can trust our senses, the five senses we have & these are surely to be of common build in each human. But still what you might like may not be liked by the other person similarly, the way you perceive things might be different from the way the other person does. Hence, reality might be different for everyone or it may be same. We can conclude that what one sees is not what the other will too, he or she may be different while answering the same surroundings.
