1. If you are a newbie and will play against someone new try scholars mate or fool's mate, you might win in 3 or 4 easy steps,
2. if you're playing against someone who knows chess well , just be patient , wait for him to commit mistakes, also keep 2 or more ways for your king to escape,

3. now that you're an expert or almost an expert, you just need more and more practice , and sacrifice your queen only if you are getting more benefits, or you have chances of reviving it.
