diary entry can be written most efficiently if you keep yourself in the writer's position and imagine the circumstances , situation , feelings of writer , of what you would write if you were in a same situation . this way writing diary entry on any of the topic : Funny , sad , regret etc would not be a difficult task . many people just think from writer's point of view but to write a better diary you have to keep yourself in that same situation as indicated in the given question
