We can highlight the difference between electrical and mechanical power.
In mechanical power is measured by the rate at which work is done whereas electrical is measured by the rate at which energy is transmitted.
In mechanical power generation is by mechanical equipment such as a piston whereas in electrical, power generation is by alternators
The unit for measuring power is Watts which mostly applies to electric.

Horse Power is used mostly for engine and motors which are mechanical.
we can convert Horse Power to Watts and that  is the only way to make electrical and mechanical power the same.

One Horse Power = Approximately 746 Watts
