How can we write mechanical power in a manner similar to the electrical power?​

Mechanical power is measured by the rate at which work is done whereas electrical power is measured by the rate at which energy is transmitted.

Mechanical power is generated by mechanical equipment Eg. Pistons whereas electrical power is generated by alternators.

The horsepower unit is used for mechanical power and can be converted to watts.

Watts is used for electrical power.

The conversion is as below.

One horsepower = 746 Watts.

Thus way, we can relate the two.
