Given : velocity time Graph

To Find :  acceleration

Distance covered in 15 secs

Time take to cover half distance

Solution:

velocity time Graph   is straight line hence constant acceleration

a = dv/dt

a  = ( 30 - 0)/ ( 15 - 0)  = 2  m/s²

V = u + at

u = 0

=> V = at

Distance covered  in 15 secs

= (1/2) (0  + 30) * 15

=  225  m

Half distance =  225/2 m

time = t

v = at

=> (1/2)( 0 + at) * t  = 225/2

=> at²  = 225

=> 2t²  = 225

=> t² = 225/2

=> t = 15/√2

=> t = 10.605 sec
