How can you convert a decimal to fraction?

I will say an example

ex:-8.4902

we will write it as 84902/10000

just remove the decimal point and write the no. and it is divided by the

multiple of 10 which has as many zeroes as of the no.s after the decimal point

We can convert a decimal to fraction by following way---

If the number is 2.3 you can convert it as 23/10

So, as much decimal place you have like above it was 1 you should divide it by 1 followed by zeros on basis of number of decimals present

4.837=4837/1000
