How can you convert formaldehyde in to n-butane ?

. Reduce it using Wolff Kishner reduction reaction. 
This reaction would yield methane. 
2. Make it react with HBr, so that you can get Bromomethane. 
3. Use Wurtz reaction to obtain Ethane. 
4. Again, make ethane react with HBr, so that you can get Bromoethane. 
5. Make Bromoethane undergo Wurtz reaction. 
It'd yield Butane.
