you can check by :-

1@- iodine solution

you can check the status of the food as if it is still suitable to consume and whether after eating it you'll get the proteins and minerals or not by performing a simple iodine test , just follow the following steps -:

prepare a simple iodine solution by mixing a little quantity of iodine and water and a few drops of phosphate free detergent and take a little amount of a bit from the food that you are wanting to test. mix the food and some drops of the iodine solution . if the colour of the food if it turns blue from violet it means that it is safe for eating.if it does not turn blue that means it is not aoroprietary to consume
