How can you differenriate between solid loquid gas on basis of volume

On basis of volume,

Solids - They have a fixed or definite volume.

Liquids - They have a definite or fixed volume.

Gases - They do not have any definite or fixed volume. They have a definite or fixed volume only in an enclosed vessel.

Liquid have less volume than solids but high volume than gas. They have definite Volume, But do not have definite shape.

Gas have less volume than solids and liquids. They don't have definite shape and volume.
