Tiger and leopard are filines belonging to the same family and genus. Though this two big cats are similar in some characteristics.there are a huge difference in them. that are

1.The tigers have dark vertical stripes on a white or orange background. Instead of vertical stripes leopard has spots or rosettes in it's fur.

2. The size of tiger is greater than leopard.

3.where the tiger weighs is 500 pounds the leopard has only 150 pounds

4. The tigers have strong legs and shoulders then leopard.

Although the following difference shows that the tiger is stronger and larger in size then the leopard.
