1. Distancing itself from religious affairs
2. Strategy of non- interference
3. Strategy of Intervention

One major difference between about secularism in India and other countries is the strategy of intervention. Most countries (Like the USA) choose not to interfere into religious matters. However, in India the state can interfere in case of any emergencies or if the fundamental rights of any citizen is violated in the process.
