Differentiation between Socialization and Enculturation
- The process by which humans acquire a society's information, language, beliefs, skills, and habits is known as socialization. From birth until death, it is a process in which we learn the society's norms, customs, values, and roles.
- On the other extreme, Enculturation is a process that is quite similar to socialization. It is the process of getting socialized into a specific culture and learning the requirements of that culture, as well as acquiring the right behaviors and values for that culture.
