Finding acceleration from velocity - time graph.

On the velocity time graph, The slope of the graph line gives the acceleration of the object.

We know that,

 \sf \: Acceleration =  \frac{dv}{dt}

Here, Velocity, Time are on the both axes respectively. Hence, Slope will give us the acceleration.

Do you know?

  • Acceleration is the ratio of change of velocity per unit time.
  •  \boxed{ a = \frac{v - u} {t}}
