when a velocity-time graph is given, we can find the displacement covered by the body by just finding out area of the graph.....

From a velocity time graph we can find displacement of a particle during the given time by finding out the area of the graph. If the graph is rectangular or a trapezium then you can easily find the area. But if the graph is not in such geometrical shape then divide it into some geometrical shapes by drawing some lines in the graph. Then find the Area of each geometrical shape and add them. This will be your answer.

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU!!!
