Louis 16 helped 13 American colonies to fight for britishers.By helping them he drained all his resources.So to get resources he imposed tax on the 3 estate which consists of artisans and peasants. This led the Jacobin club to rise and ultimately French revolution.

as king Louis 16 was increasing taxes on people due to debt of money .During that time there was a famine in country which caused food crisis huge lines in bakreys and then increase of taxes caused people to get really angry and rumours around country caused this to result in a revolt
