How can you insert a column in a table?
Steps to insert a column in a table:
- Click anywhere in the row/column, adjacent to which you want to add the new row(s) /column(s).
- The table tools tab appears on the Ribbon. Click on the Layout tab under it.
- In the rows and columns group click on the Insert left or Insert Right button to insert a column and click on the Insert above or Insert below button to insert a row .
Method 2:
- Click on the dialogue box launcher button in the rows and columns group.The insert cells dialogue box appears and select the required option.Click on Ok.
