he mate I am a photographer and I will provide you a better reference.
so basically what you have to do is to after to file and open an image it will add in another window of the that so select the whole portion of the image from ctrl + a or you can do are selection through the feature of quick selection tool it's your day after that.
track the photo and move it to the top of the windows to that place where you want to paste it.

Open or create the Photoshop project that you want to edit. Drag and drop the new image into the Photoshop window. You can also click the “File” menu, click “Open,” select the image file and click the “Open” button. Press the “Enter” key to confirm and add the image as a new layer.

Go to the tools panel and select the Horizontal Type tool. Click your image where you would like to insert text and type a phrase. When you're done, press Escape to exit the text field. Notice that a new layer with your text has appeared in the Layers panel
