chipko movement was a movement which held on 1970 inorder to preserve trees .This was started by Bishnoi of Rajasthan during 860s centuries . In this some people were cuting trees in order to get money , fulfill their greed .But the people of that village stuck themselves with tress ,so inorder to make those people aware that these trees play an important role in our lives
