Table is a solid because:

In solid the molecules are joined by very strong forces of attraction.

Therefore the shape of the substance is rigid. Table has a definite shape and size.

Molecules of solid do not move as they are tightly bounded together.

Thus, solids occupy fixed volume and table can be weighed, has a definite volume can be termed as solid.
