Some argue that globalization is a positive development as it will give rise to new industries and more jobs in developing countries. Others say globalization is negative in that it will force poorer countries of the world to do whatever the big developed countries tell them to do.

We can make the negative effects of globalization into a positive one in the following ways:

  • Globalization, in my opinion, is a good thing.
  • International trade brings the world closer together and lowers the cost of goods.
  • People from the west are exposed to ideas from the east and the other way around. Globalization put an end to the Cold War.
  • The negative effects of loss of manufacturer jobs in the united states are counterbalanced by the growing awareness of the workers of the evils of laissez-faire capitalism and the desire for an alternative to current conservative ideology
