It can be easily demonstrated that air has pressure. There are many ways to do it. One such way is described below

  • Take two balloons and fill them with air

  • Tie both with thread and hold each one in one hand

  • Now lower the balloon to your face such that they are 6 inches apart

  • Now blow between the balloons

  • You will see that balloons come closer to each other because blowing makes air pressure lower between the balloons and higher on the outside which pushes them together
