How can you prove that "Oxygen helps in burning" ? Explain it with Laboratory procedure

Put each candle under each glass separately. One should have oxygen inside the glass and the other shouldn't have it. The glass in which the oxygen is present will last longer that means the candle burns until all the oxygen inside the glass is used up. This shows that oxygen helps in burning
