How can you prove that zinc is more reactive than copper?​

  • We can show it by an experiment Displacement reaction between copper and zinc:-
  • When a strip of zinc metal is placed in CuSO4 solution, the colour of blue copper sulphate solution fades gradually.
  • This proves that zinc displaces copper from copper sulphate solution being more reactive than copper.
