Teeth are divided into four main groups, each with a well-defined position and function.


They are Incisors, Canines which is v shaped teeth, premolars and molars which are very strong and powerful.


Incisors are divided into two categories.


They are central incisors which have a shovel shape and lateral incisors which is used for cutting food.

Incisior - They are thistle shape. 1 root

Canine - They are long shape and pointed. 1 root

Premolar - Broad and having two cups.

Upper premolar - 2root , Lower premolar - 1 root

Molar - These are broad having 3 to 5 cups.

Upper molar - 3 root , lower molar - 2 root
