I can relate myself with the levels of biological organisation in the following way:-
- Cell is the basic structural and functional unit of life. It is in turn composed of atoms and molecules.
- Cells which are nearly similar in structure and function form a tissue. Ex. nervous tissue and muscular tissue in animals.
- When tissues of similar structure and function join together, they give rise to an organ. Ex. brain, lungs, stomach, etc
- A specific group of organs get associated to form organ system. Ex. digestive system, respiratory system, etc
- Different organ systems then make up the entire body of the living organism. Ex. Human body
