A-1. There weren't many people on the street because it was the time of winter and the chilled wind was blowing.
A-2. The two frnds had promised to meet at the same place and time where they left each other twenty years before.
A-3. Bob's hands started trembling by the time he reached the end of the letter because at that time he came to knew the truth that the policeman who was doing his duty of patrolling was his real frnd.
A-4 Jimmy Wells was the policeman. He was on his duty of patrolling but as a true friend he came to meet at the place which was decided 20 yrs ago.
A-5. We can say that Bob and Jimmy Wells were best frnds bcoz they both didn't forgotten each other and came to meet at the same time and place which they had decided to meet each other twenty years ago..
