Air is a mixture of about 78% of nitrogen, 21% of oxygen, 0.9% of argon, 0.04% of carbon dioxide, and very small amounts of other gases. There is an average of about 1% water vapour. Animals live and need to breathe the oxygen in the air.

Answer:

We can say that there is air because if there is no air then how can we breath. We require air to breath. If no air is present, then there can be no oxygen no organisms, no carbon dioxide no plants. If there were no oxygen then the candle would not burn. There would no Combustion. Air is important to survive the living organisms. Means the air is present in our environment

In the air total gases are

Nitrogen 78%

Oxygen 21%

Argon 0.93%

Carbon dioxide 0.04%

Other Gases 1%
