Akbar was a follower of Sher Shah because he followed several policies of Sher Shah Suri.He followed the land policy of Sher Shah and engaged himself like Sher Shah for the welfare of his subjects.
Akbar adopted the following policies of Sher Shah:-
1. the policy of division of empire into certain sarkars.
2.the policy of stretching the boundaries of the empire.
3.Certain land reforms such as division of land among Jagirdars and changing the position of the Jagirdars time to time.
4.He kept certain military reforms but he also introduced "Mansabdari System".
