Election commission of India came to existence in 1950. It's head quarter is in Delhi. It prepare electoral rolls and conducts election to loksabha, Rajyasabha, stare assemblies , the president and vice president. The two election commissioners play a crucial role from announcement of the election to declaration of the results.
