Fibre for clothing generally used were cotton, flax, silk, wool, linen, leather, etc. One fragment of colored cloth is available in evidences which are dyed with red madder show that people in Harappan civilisation dyed their cotton clothes with a range of colors. It tells us that harrapans were well known for cotton, etc
