1. The disintegration of the Soviet union acclerated this process.
2. Poland and the other countries became free from the rule of the Soviet union.
3. And the Soviet union itself broke in 1991.
4. Pakistan and Bangladesh made a transition from army rule to democracy in 1990s . But general musharrraf brought back army rule in Pak.
