1. In 16th century many Europeans began migrating to America and started cultivation.

2. There was plenty of land, but not enough people to work on the fields. To fill the gap, the slave trade from Africa began.

3. Africans were captured and enslaved. The slaves were greatly oppressed. Many of them died by the time they reached sea ports.

4. Even in America, in human treatment was observed by the native Americans on non- Americans.

5. Despite working hard, they were not given proper food for living quarters. Lakhs of people died after they were made slaves.

Hence, we can say that Slave trade was highly heinous.
