2. Europe obtained many things like cotton, silk, gems, ivori and spices etc., which were not available in Europe.

3. Europeans Got these all things in exchange for gold and silver. But very soon, they started to exploit it.

4. As Europeans later on colonised the African and Asian countries and ruled over for many years gave a chance for cultural exchange.
