Separation of mixture of salt, moong dal and chalk powder can be done through the following steps:

 Moong dal can easily be separated by a ‘channi’.

 Then add some water to the mixture of chalk powder and salt.

 The chalk powder can also be very easily separated. It can be done by filteration method by using a filter paper.

 Now, salt can also be separated from the remaining salt solution by applying the method of evaporation.

Heating method is also apt here. By heating, water will be removed and the salt can easily be obtained.
