Answer:
Salt can be separated from a solution through evaporation. The water can also be recovered as well as the salt if the water vapor is trapped and cooled to condense the water vapor back into a liquid. This process is called distillation.

We can separate the materials in a salt solution, by the following process -
First of all, we have to know about the materials of a salt solution.
A salt solution contains :
- Salt
- Water
Process of separation :
- We have to take the salt solution in a beaker.
- Then we have to slowly apply heat to the solution.
- The entire water will be evaporated, due to heating.
- After the complete evaporation of water, only the salt will be left in the beaker. (in this step salt and water are separated)
- Now, if we can arrange a setup to trap the evaporated water vapour, then we can also collect the separated water. (water vapour will be cooled down into liquid water)
Thus, we have discussed the process of separating the materials in a salt solution.
