Action forces r those forces that always act in pairs . Always act in opposite direction .

there r two types of forces - Action forces and Reaction forces .

for example - if a book is kept on a table then Action force will act on the table while Reaction force will act on the book .  

Newton's third law states that forces act in pairs .  

Interaction pair -

the forces (f) of A on B is equal in magnitude and opposite in direction of the forces of B on A :

F(A on B)= -F(B on A)
