When we inflate a very large amount of air in a balloon, the air exerts pressure on the walls of the balloon and ,hence, it bursts.

When we inhale, the air exerts pressure on the walls of our alveoli and they expand.

When we travel into space without an astronaut suit, our veins can burst because of high amount of pressure applied on our veins by the air.

There are many more examples in our daily life also.
