how can you show that evaporation causes cooling

And it follows that the cooling effect increases. The more water molecules that are escaping from the liquid phase from our skin surface and from our pores, the more cooling effect there is. Again, this is because the liquid molecules, as they escape and become vapor, require heat and they take it with them.

We can take example of an earthern pot.. Why most of the people living in village still prefer earthern pot ( Matka) to store water rather than refrigerator?? This is because in summers, water kept in it remains cool.. This is because evaporation.. Earthern pot has small pores in it. When warm air from inside moves out of the pot, it get exposed with air.. Which leads to evaporation and as we know that evaporation leads to cooling, so water kept in earthern pot remains cool..
