Thak a glass jar by machine take all the air out so that the jar has no air left inside now place a calling bell inside the jar gently and close the jar carefully...aill now you can hear the sound of the calling bell.

Answer:

Sound waves are mechanical waves. Unlike electromagnetic waves, they require a medium to propagate.

Sound cannot travel through a vacuum. A vacuum is an area without any air, like space. So sound cannot travel through space because there is no matter for the vibrations to work on it.
