The calculation of volume for the regular shaped objects is quite simple and easily done with the helps of formulas devised for them but when it comes to irregular shaped objects it becomes difficult.
A simpler method used for the purpose is water displacement method.
In this method, you need to get a measuring cylinder and note the volume of water inside before submerging the object in it.
Then submerge the object in the cylinder such that it is fully submerged and water does not come out of the cylinder and measure the volume.
Subtract the initial volume from final volume and you will get volume of the object.
