During respiration,When we inhaled air 18% of oxygen and 0.4 % of carbon dioxide entered in our body. And when we exhaled air 14% of oxygen and 0.02% of carbon dioxide went outside from our body. This carbon dioxide that we exhaled is used by plants for photosynthesis.
