In tissues, the partial pressure of CO2 decreases and it increases in the blood. Due to this carbon dioxide moves from the tissues int the blood. From here carbon dioxide gets transported to the lungs and the carbon dioxide reaches the alveoli. The partial pressure of carbon dioxide in the blood decreases and the partial pressure of carbon dioxide in the alveolar walls increases. Due to this carbon dioxide moves from blood vessels into alveoli. The partial pressure of carbon dioxide is more in atmosphere compared to alveoli due to this the carbon dioxide moves to the atmosphere from the lungs. Buy this carbon dioxide is transported outside of the body from the tissues
