The muscular canal that goes from the uterus to the outside of the body. During birth, the baby passes through the birth canal. Also called vagina.

cervical canal

The cervical canal is the spindle-shaped, flattened canal of the cervix, the neck of the uterus. It communicates with the uterine cavity via the internal orifice of the uterus and with the vagina via the external orifice of the uterus .

Vagina and cervix together form the birth canal
