Clove stalks:

The clove plant is a tropical plant mainly cultivated in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, etc. The edible part of clove consists of actually the woody stalk of the clove flower, anatomically called the pedicel.

Clove is harvested from clove plants when the flowers are in bud stage. Then, they are dried and ready to export. Clove stalks end up in a flower-like pattern, morphologically seem to be continuous with the flower. But, anatomically it has the region where there are both clove stalk and clove flower.
