CO2 moves in and out of the cell by Diffusion and water move in and out of the cell by the process of Osmosis.

This is because the concentration of water and CO2 is lower in the cell rather than outside. We know that water moves from the region of higher concentration to it's region of lower concentration. The cell membrane being semi-permeable enables this activity.

Hope it helps.............

maria9: the cell membrane is semi permeable so it is the process of osmosis
maria9: water move in the cell by the process of osmosis
maria9: correct ur answer
Subhikshamurari: Hey! Thanks buddy :)
maria9: I said water moves by osmosis.......not co2
Nikki57: ..

Nikki57: dear still correction is needed.
maria9: the answer still needs correction
Subhikshamurari: Thanks I have corrected.
