\pink{Here\:\: is \:\:your\:\: answer} . . .

The carbon dioxide (CO2) present in the atmosphere traps the heat radiated by the Earth which results in the warming of the Earth's surface and this phenomenon is termed as global warming. Global warming leads to the increase in the Earth's temperature. This results in melting of the glaciers of the polar region and ice caps of various mountains such as The Mount Everest. Because of global warming the height of the mountains is decreasing and the sea levels are increasing. This is resulting in various natural disasters like floods in Kerala and various areas, Tsunami, etc. To avoid this mankind should plant more trees and reduce the burning of carbon compounds.
